Funding the Homeless doesn't actually help House the Homeless. It inflates the systems.
A lot of our seniors are just 1 step away from homelessness. We must not forget that some of the homeless are actually decent people; they are someone's family; someone's friend; often displaced due to circumstance; trying to survive; not all choose to be homeless; not all are drug addicts. Life has a way of bringing challenging experiences to us all. An event happens, and the next thing you know what you had slipped through your fingers.
The art of growing delicious healthy foods must be taught to our children. We all should know how to heal ourselves & self-sufficiency has been lost, & needs to be restored.
Gaia's desires to educate, inspire, bring hope, healing, compassion, restore dignity, bridging gaps in the system, uniting communities.
Creating unity & living regenerative ecosystems designed to interrupt cycles of trauma before they become crises, replacing emergency responses with stability, dignity, and hope. Within each ecosystem, individuals find more than shelter or services—they find belonging. Greenhouses, regenerative food systems, and hands-on training programs become places of healing, learning, and contribution.
Participants grow food, restore land, maintain shared spaces, and support one another while gaining real job skills, confidence, and pathways to employment. These daily acts of purpose reduce repeated ER visits, prevent arrests born of survival, support recovery from substance dependency, and ease the long-term strain on healthcare, justice, and social systems. For corporate partners and volunteers, Humans Helping Humans Heal offers a chance to invest in solutions that work—solutions that restore dignity, strengthen communities, and create measurable impact.
Wrote the Ecosystems Proposal under the Humans Helping Humans Heal Projects - December 2025 to February 2025
I'm So Excited to Announce that the event in Washington transpired into Gaia's writing a Proposal Defining & laying out creating Ecosystem that portrays the truth about the homeless, low-income problems in our communities; to help solve the problem, uniting, & bring dignity back to the people. The proposal was written under the Humans Helping Humans Heal Program.... it's done & has been sent to our President & First Lady asking for consideration adopting the proposal!!!

This project touched our hearts and the research that we did touched our hearts... we found that there are so many gaps in the systems failing the most vulnerable population in our society. So, we decided to step up, build bridges & expand the event into the Ecosystems Nationwide Project
